How multimodel ensemble reveals benefits from regenerative crop practices on climate in the US Midwest

The article from Basso et al. (2025) illustrates how multimodel ensemble allows a better assessment of changes in soil organic carbon (SOC) and nitrous oxyde emissions resulting from crop practices at large scale. The study is undertaken on 46 millions hectares of croplands in US Midwest for assessment of the global capacity of different regenerative crop practices to sequester SOC and limit N2O emissions.
